What's New...

07/14/01 - Help find a cure for Cancer!  WWW.GASSER.ORG is participating in finding a cure for Cancer and so can you!  Please visit our Folding@Home page to find out how you can contribute as well.

06/08/01 - Site problems - AGAIN!  Apologies for everyone trying to send in family information.  We're working on switching sites to help fix our problems.  Please bear with us.  If you can't download information, please either send it in a standard Email or you can Snail mail it us as well.

Good news!  We have someone working on our multilinqual conversion.  First up will be a German Tranlsation thanks to Melissa Brennan.  We're still looking for someone to help in the French translation.  If you know someone or if you would like to help, please contact me at chip(at)"thisdomain.org"

After a short hiatus,  we're back into the swing again and have updated several of the pages.  Most notable are the tree and links pages.

Wow, easy question to answer, EVERYTHING!  Recently we've been getting a tremendous influx of contributions and Emails.   Some Emails ask about Gasser history, some about the family crest.  All have been wonderfully positive!  We'd like to thank Carol Amelia Gasser of Oklahoma City for really kicking the interest in this site into overdrive.

We are currently working on adding multilingual capabilities to our site.  We will initially offer this site in English, French, and German.   If anyone would like to request another language, please feel free do drop me an Email.  Soon we will also implement a site search engine.  Here we will be able to search by names, dates, places and more.

Along with this page, we have recently added the Family Crest page.  This page describes the colors and symbols of the Gasser crest or coat-of-arms.  There is also a higher quality TIFF image of the crest available for download.  Please stop in and take a look.

We have recently updated our online submission page so please take advantage of it.  We've laid it out in what we hope is an easier to use and more complete format.

Thanks again for everyone's support and input to this site!
